  I broke my leg and wrist and Dr David Chao took excellent care of my injuries, they got me into surgery within a week and I have had an exceptionally rapid and painless recovery. I am very impressed with Dr Chao. My experience has been very positive and I recommend Dr. Chao to anyone needing orthopedic surgery.

  This one star has nothing to do with Dr. Chao's capability as a Medical Professional. I'm sure sure he's a good Doctor. Unfortunately, I was turned off by his administrative staff. I was told after my initial x-ray and exam that I would be contacted by the local MRI place and my insurance information would be forwarded. Therefore, I never asked any information regarding the MRI facility. Two weeks go by and nothing. I send an e-mail inquiring about the status of the MRI after two voice mails. I get an e-mail asking if i had reached out to the MRI place? What? I take a deep breadth ask for the details. A day later I get a name and number but the number I get is for a CVS/Target location. At this point I'm done. Knee still hurts but looking for another Doctor's office. I guess this is what happens when you just a co-pay to them.

  If there was a lower rating I would give it. Lets summarize. I made an appt. and with a five minute consultation that I was charged an exurbanite amount of money for I was told that I needed MRI's. Well this was late November and was ensured that I would be undergoing surgery for a wrist surgery prior to the first of the year so I could avoid additional co-pay issues. I was informed that the MRI would be ordered STAT. Apparently their office thinks 6 business days is STAT. That being said the Imaging center was great however the MRI was denied by my insurance. That's ok and I get it. The Imaging center tried for 4 days to get a response from DR Chaos to have a Dr on Dr consult with the insurance company with no results. I finally received a return call from their front office and was informed that I may have to have a second 5 minute multi hundred dollar consult to acquire more information. Lets just say its been another 4 days with no results and now its Dec the 28th not to mention their ridiculous front office staff who doesn't give a rats you know what about their Pts.. I will be going to court on the first apt charge and will not return to this joke of an office in my lifetime. Please Please Please do yourself the favor and avoid this office!!!! This place is a joke! Thanks for costing me thousands of dollars!!!!
