- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪After accepting my ppo blue cross blue shield over the phone when placing appointment; forced me to pay out of pocket for moles removed even though they were sent to a pathologist for review and diagnosis and the insurance covered the pathology. Doctor never called me regarding results and charged me over $500.00 for a ten minute removal of moles. I am now submitting for reimbursement and filing a complaint with my ppo as she is contracted with them and obligated to file claims on their members behalf. I phoned them several times for the correct codes for my visit and never heard bck from them regarding the pathology report. Had to go to another dermatologist to review the pathologists findings.
